Chapter 1: Bad Beginnings


I woke up. Nothing special, I got out of bed, I walked downstairs, and I just had breakfast. I walked out side with my sword, and all a sudden. Selen comes run by, nocking me and Senro over. I ignored her, and just walked over to a big tree, and plotted myself onto the ground. Everything was peaceful, unusually so, but it was nice to enjoy it while it lasted. I grabbed an apple from the tree and just enjoyed myself.

I was just sitting there, and I saw a figure in the shadows. I leaned forward to see if I could make out the figure. And then I jolted after it. I yelled into a communication device that was online with Naru, Senso, and Inari, my siblings. “I FOUND HIM!” “YOU WHAT!?!?!?!?” Yelled Naru. “You heard me right,” I told him. “Stay where you are so we can meet up with you,” Senso said. “Can’t,” I said. “If I wait for you guys, he’ll get away. Just try to catch up.” “We’ll be there soon.”

As I was running after him, Ben jumps next to me. “I got your message,” he said. “How?!” “I hacked into your communication device” -_-” “Well, he’s getting away.” “Then let’s hurry up.” We kept on running after him. We ran for hours untill he shot a ball of energy at me. I pulled up my sword to block it, but as soon as it hit my sword, it triggered an exspostion that sent me flying into a couple of trees. “Go on without me,” I yelled. “I’ll catch up soon.” He kept on running after him till they finally came to a cave.

I wasn’t far behind, I and I could hear the clanking of swords. When I finally found them inside the cave, I saw him stab his katana through Ben’s neck. “NO!” I screamed as I ran at him with my great sword. We clashed swords for hours, shot darkness and energy balls at each other. But it all came down to the final minuets. “Screw you Zenaku,” I said as I thrusted my great sword at him. He maneuvered it around his body and struck it staight into my side. “Good-bye,” he said as he pulled my great sword out of me. He walked away, as I started to fade.

Chapter 2: Awakening


I awoke in a hospital bed. Everyone was surrounding me. Before I thought about anything, I leaped out of the bed a fell onto the floor. I screamed in agonizing pain. “Are you okay?” Selen asked. “Does it look like it...” I replied. She made a sad face kind of like a puppy. I giggle a little bit, and then she growled at me. I gave a little smiley. After everybody saw that I was better, they all went home. I could help but think about Ben. Nobody mentioned him, as it was like he never existed. They were probably just upset about what happened to him. I was lucky to escape with my life, he was, unfortunately, not so lucky.

I got out of bed and walked outside, and sat down on a bench while watched everybody have a good time, like nothing was bad in this world we live. But there is evil right front of them... I got up and walked around a small park by the hospital, and I just thought to myself, what did Zenaku had to gain from all this, everything he had done. I walked over to one of the only person I trusted. “Hey Selen,” I said. “How come you guys didn’t talk about Ben at all?” “Well,” she replied “We didn’t find his body...” “Oh...” I said in a depressed voice. “We knew you would be saddened,” she said. “Who killed him?” “Zenaku...” I answered. “Who’s that?” she asked. “The person that killed everybody in my family but me, Naru, Inari, and Senso...” I replied. “All of my family were visiting, and after dinner me, Naru, Inari, and Senso went outside. We heard screaming coming from inside, and we went in to find everybody dead. I saw him jump out the window, and with my mother’s final breath, she told me his name...” “Oh, I didn’t know,” she said in a guilty voice. “I’m really sorry.” “It’s okay,” I responded.

I walked away even more depressed then when I walked over. It’s not Selen’s fault, it’s just been a troubling time for me. I sat down on another bench and just sat there for hours, pondering. After a while, a little spirit of a Jaguar came up to me. “Hey there,” I said as I smiled a little bit. I scratched in between it’s ears as it purred. As I was scratching it, it jumped into my soul! “This isn’t good,” I thought to myself. I walked over to Nall to ask him about this. “Uh, Nall,” I said. “Yes?” he answered. “Do you know anything about when I spirit goes into your spirit,” I asked him. “Uh,” he answered. “1. I have no idea what to do about that. And 2. Too much information.” I walked away with an awkward feeling. I walked over to my brother, Senso, to see what he had to say about it. “Uh,” I said. “Do you know what to do if a spirit goes into your soul?” “Is it a human, demon, angel, or animal?” he asked me. “An animal,” I told him. “Good, not to great when a human, or demon gets in there,” he replied. “Me and you are demons though,” I said. “Yes, but when a demon, like you and me, die,” he said. “It’s a whole other story,” “Okay then,” I said like he was crazy. “So what do I do?” “Well,” he replied. “If an animal does that, it means it likes you, and it wants to be your companion. So if you need it’s help, just pull it out of your soul, and in time, it’ll come out when you want it to.” “How do I do that?” I asked him. “Like this,” he said. He just pushed his hand into his chest, and pulled out part of his soul, and put it back in. “That’s creepy,” I said to him. Then I thought to myself, “I wish this spirit would come out, so I wouldn’t have to reach inside of me to pull it out. Just thinking about it freaks me out. And, sure enough, it comes out of me. “Well, that was faster that I thought it would be,” I said surprised. It jumped on me, and fell over. Things were starting to shape up.
